Upon further inspection of my jaguar engine block and sump, what we thought to be metal pieces from broken engine components were actually glass, with a decent amount of sand strewn throughout the engine and pan. It was sabotaged.

No the car was fine and cherry, it enjoyed a beautiful life in the California sun. I was only able to take it out for one good drive.
